As a doctor's office, however, I am extremely displeased. I called in to inform them that I was a college student looking to get my yearly physical done since I can't get home to do so. I was informed that prior to settting up an appointment, I had to "apply" to be a patient. It took a week to hear back about my "application" only for me to be told that I had to miss class twice to get my physical done - once for some kind of intro appointment and then for the actual appointment. If they had informed me of this ahead of time, I never would have bothered applying. I would check around in Lima and Bluffton before relying on them here in the future.
I've been to this center several times now but I will never come back. Almost every member of the staff is unprofessional, dismissive, and rude. The nurses would rather pay attention to their fingernails than what I'm saying. The male doctors are judgmental and apparently would rather scold me about a survey I filled out years ago than focus on treating me. They're quick to give an easy diagnosis, even if it is wrong. They talk down to me as if I couldn't possibly understand what's wrong with me so they won't bother explaining it. There are a couple of decent employees here but they aren't enough to keep me as a patient.
It was fine as an urgent care. After getting a medicine I was allergic to, we eventually got things worked out and I got over my bronchitis. It was just a very tedious process.
Tuck: Prescribed Bactrim / Sulfamethoxazole for my 7 yr old daughter's Strep Throat. Bactrim does not cure Strep. She broke out into rash & went 10 days with strep until we took her to a real doctor. Hopefully there will be no long term consequences to this. Careless & Lazy ... she wasn't even tested to confirm that she had Strep. Considering she was on anti-biotics a month prior to this, we are now in a very dangerous situation. As a parent you should take your children to a pediatrician & not a fly by night clinic like this.
